Training and Knowledge Sharing Workshop for Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening for Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation Framework Development in Cambodia and CLV countries (2nd Session)

Phnom Penh, May 25, 2022, H.E CHHIENG Pich, Director General, General Department of Logistics, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, chaired and opened a Training and Knowledge Sharing Workshop for Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening for Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation Framework Development in Cambodia and CLV countries (2nd Session).
The workshop was organized by the General Department of Logistics through the Technical Cooperation Project of the Mekong-Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund (MKCF) from 25 to 27 May 2022. A total of 60 participants participate in person and via video conference which included representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam, representatives of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Laos, representatives of the Mekong Institute, National and International Logistics Consultants, relevant General Departments under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, Phnom Penh Autonomous Port, Cambodia Logistics Association (CLA) and the Cambodia Land Transport Association (CAMTA).
The workshop focused on the following topics: 1) Global Logistics Performance Index, 2) Measuring and Monitoring along corridors on the logistics and transport sector, 3) Predicting and developing modeling approaches for Flow of cargo or containers and other cost in the logistics sector, and 4) Practice some assignment by group discussion, and some case studies in Asian countries.
