About General Department of Logistics
General Department of Logistics (GDL) is the secretariat of NLSC and has additional roles and responsibilities as follows:
- Prepare the work plans and budget of the Secretariat;
- Perform administrative and financial tasks for NLSC;
- Compile the policy-related documents, strategic plans, action plans, and legal instruments related to the logistics sector;
- Lead and cooperate with working groups or focal officials of ministries/institutions which are the composition of NLC and other stakeholders to help monitoring the implementation and development of:
- Master plans, strategies, policies and legal instruments related to logistics issues;
- Human resources training plan and dissemination of logistics information;
- Plans to supply the necessary resources for the work performance in logistics sector;
- Research and development of logistics sector;
- Plan to integrate logistics information management system;
- Plan to promote and support the national logistics industries;
- Plans to secure the supply chain of the logistics sector;
- Innovation in logistics sector.
- Evaluate the consistency and comprehensiveness as well as effectiveness of the implementation of strategies, policies and programs related to the logistics sector and make proposals for submission to NLSC for review and approval;
- Prepare the work performance report, minutes of meetings of NLC and NLSC;
- Perform other duties as assigned by NLSC;

Department of Logistics Information is under direct supervision of General Department of Logistics which has duties as determined in provision 39 of sub-decree No. 216 ANKr/BK dated on October 13, 2016
Department of Logistics
Department of Logistics (DoL) is under the direct supervision and management of the General Department of Logistics, and it has the duties as stated in Article 40 of Sub-decree No. 216 ANKr.BK dated 13 October 2016.
Department of Logistics Cooperation
The Department of Logistics Cooperation (DLC) is under the direct supervision and management of the General Department of Logistics, and it has the duties as stated in Article 39 of Sub-decree No. 216 ANKr.BK dated 13 October 2016.
Department of Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation
Department of Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation (DLME) is under the direct supervision and management of the General Department of Logistics, and it has the duties as stated in Article 39 of the Sub-decree No. 216 ANKr.BK dated 13 October 2016.
