Phnom Penh 12 October 2022, H.E. Chheang Pich Director General, General Department of Logistics, Ministry of Public Works and Transport chaired Project Inception Workshop on “Establishment of a Comprehensive Plan of Cross-Border Checkpoint Facility at International Border Trapeang Srae, Cambodia” of Korea’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) within a participation by Dr. Yu-Han-Jun Senior Advisor, representative from The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport and another relevant stakeholder around 50 people.

The purpose of this workshop is to present the project “Establishment of Comprehensive Plan of Cross-Border Checkpoint Facility at International Border Trapeang Srae, in Kratie Province, Cambodia-Vietnam Border” under the Official Development Assistance of the Republic of Korea (ODA), which will take approximately 24 months for feasibility study from August 2022 to June 2024.

The project focuses on the study on construction of infrastructure, cross border facilities of International Border Gate of Trapeang Sre, including: Immigration office, Border Management office, Tourist Building, power plant, dormitory and Container Yard.
