The project is for debottlenecking of the Central Sub-corridor by: (1) asphalt concrete(AC) overlay along NR/NH 1 between Neak Loeang and the western edge of BavetCity; (2) upgrading/widening along NR/NH 5 (ongoing); (3) improvement over roadsafety as well as developing the economic growth corridor. The project has beenimplemented by the General Department of Public Works (GDPW) which wasfinancially supported by ADB.Currently, the project is ongoing and achieved 74.78% of overall progress. In fact, themain activities under this project are as follows: asphalt concrete (AC) overlay along NR/NH 1 between Neak Loeang and the western edge of Bavet City. This project alsoencounters some challenges in implementation during Covid-19 pandemic.
