Department of Logistics (DoL) is under the direct supervision and management of the General Department of Logistics, and it has the duties as stated in Article 40 of Sub-decree No. 216 ANKr.BK dated 13 October 2016 on Organization and Functioning of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport as follows:

• Develop national logistics policies;
• Develop strategies to connect soft and hard logistics infrastructure in the logistics multi-modal transport system and facilitate the flow of all kinds of goods in the logistics system;
• Prepare legal documents in the logistics sector;
• Establish logistics plans;
• Create human resources development plan in the logistics sector;
• Act as Secretariat of the National Logistics Council and the National Logistics Steering Committee;
• Act as focal point in the Logistics and Transport Working Group;
• Facilitate the collection of logistics inputs related to ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services, ASEAN Trade in Services Agreement, and other Free Trade Agreements in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders to develop policies, strategies, logistics system development plan, and logistics infrastructure management;
• Collaborate and coordinate with relevant ministries and institutions, development partners and private sector in formulating the national policies, strategies, and master plans in order to promote the transport and logistics sector in the Kingdom of Cambodia which shall be submitted to the National Logistics Council;
• Facilitate and work with relevant ministries and institutions, development partners and the private sector to promote the transit system in the region and across the globe;
• Implement the policies, strategies and plans in transportation and logistics sector;
• Collaborate with relevant institutions to develop the logistics infrastructure projects at local and international level;
• Collaborate with relevant institutions to mobilize financial assistance related to multi-model in the field of transportation and logistics from local and foreign development partners and new development partners;
• Make report on periodical work activities to the leadership of the Ministry
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
